First Key:  Happiness has nothing to do with your circumstances or conditions.

Second Key:  Your experience of happiness comes from how you choose to react to your circumstances.

This path of least resistance isn’t about a behavior that you should always

follow. It’s about being loose and receptive in the moment, and following
the impulse.

Only when your consciousness is totally focused on the moment you are in can you receive whatever gift, lesson, or delight that moment has to offer.

Life Coaching is not for the faint of heart. It is about taking risks, challenging your beliefs and comfort zones and having the faith, courage and conviction to attempt something new and allow joy to take hold.

“Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

It is our own mental attitude which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.

-- Swami Vivekananda

"People have judged you; you have accepted their idea without any scrutiny. And you are suffering from all kinds of people's judgments, and you are throwing those judgments on other people. And this game has become out of proportion. The whole humanity is suffering from it. If you want to get out of it, the first thing is: Don't judge yourself."

-- Osho

"The very strength that protects the heart from injury is the strength that prevents the heart from enlarging to its intended greatness within. The song of the voice is sweet, but the song of the heart is the pure voice of heaven." - Kahlil Gibran

3/1/13  A miracle I'd like to share.  Yesterday when I was walking JuJu, my dog, on a new street near our home, I came upon a house that still had their Christmas decorations out. On a small tree in their front yard hung about 20 huge bulbs of different colors that were very striking to look at.  I was happy to have the experience of seeing them.

This morning as I was on the way home walking JuJu, a man driving by stopped his car to ask me if I saw a little dog.  The thought came to me to be positive so I said, "I'm sure you will find the dog hopefully sooner than later."  I then asked where he lived in case I did see the dog and he told me.  He said the dog's name is Rocky when I asked about it.

As I walked away I thought about what I had said and felt a certainty he would find the dog.  I went a few feet more when a neighbor who I see alot when she is walking her 2 dogs called out to me and asked if she could tell me something. I crossed the street and walked a short distance to get to her house when I noticed she was holding a dog.

When I approached her she said,"I found this dog do you know who the owner is?"   I was so thrilled and told her about the person who stopped me looking for his dog.  I suggested I would get JuJu home, jump in my car and come back to pick her and Rocky up to bring him home.

When I returned in my car, Pat, the neighbor who had Rocky, found out from a police person the address of Rocky's home.  That the police person knew that info made me think Rocky's owner was really intent on finding him.

We drove to the address and no one was home.  I wrote out a small note providing the owner with Pat's phone number and just as I put the note on the door, the owner pulled up in his car.  Pat and I were so happy.  When Rocky saw his owner, he smothered him with kisses.

The owner explained his girlfreind had let Rocky out this morning and Rocky took off.  Pat said she put a collar on Rocky and leash and kindly suggested to Rocky's owner to make sure he is never put outdoors without some identification.

It was then when I happened to glance over to the front yard of the houseand there brightly shining were the bulbs I had seen the day before. I smiled and felt a sense of wonder.  As Pat and I drove off, the owner expressed his gratitude and I said to Pat, I consider this a miracle.  We were both happy how easy this all turned out.

I close by recognizing the guidance and love of Infinite Intelligence.

See if you can catch yourself complaining in either speech or thought, about a situation you find yourself in, what other people do or say, your surroundings, your life situation, even the weather.

To complain is always nonacceptance of what is. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation or accept it. All else is madness.

-- Eckhart Tolle

"In the end, just three things matter:
                         How well we have lived
                         How well we have loved
How well we have learned to let go."

Don't Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

"Everything is attitude/mental/mood first and follow through with anything that is inspired. When you allow your cells to do their work - and the way you do that is being in a good mood or attitude - then your body thrives.

There is no situation that you want to accommodate that you cannot
accommodate in pure alignment and joy - not one. But there are a lot of people looking for a lot of reasons to explain why things
aren't the way they want them to be. And that's what we call arguing for
limitations, justifying or defending why it's not better for you in this way or in this way or in this way.

You just have to get your nose out of everybody else's business and focus upon your thriving."

We have no need to teach pure motives to the mind.  All that is necessary to make the mind pure is to undo the negative conditioning to which it has been subjected: then we will be left with pure, unconditioned awareness.

- Eknath Easwaran

"Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world. The forms may change, yet the essence remains the same. Every wonderful sight will vanish; every sweet word will fade, But do not be disheartened, The source they come from is eternal, growing, Branching out, giving new life and new joy. Why do you weep? The source is within you. And this whole world is springing up from it."
